34w check-up

We had a midwife appointment today. It went pretty quickly. I had gained 4 pounds since 2 weeks ago; I blame Easter for that! Total weight gain is now 26 pounds, which isn't too bad.

Obviously, my uterus is still measuring ahead. I didn't even ask how much this time. My blood pressure is still fine. Overall, a pretty boring visit!

I did ask about preterm labor a bit, since I've been feeling pretty crampy for the past few days. As I expected, my midwife was pretty unconcerned, especially since the cramps weren't anything timeable, but she did tell me that, if I went into labor today, they probably wouldn't try to stop it! Hopefully Baby Rhody cooks for at least 3 more weeks, but it's good to know that things would be okay even if baby came early! My midwife did point out that Baby Rhody is already the size of many full-term babies. Eep!
